“Malonda’s experiences, especially a panic attack during a serene park walk a few years back, have fuelled this powerful piece. Overwhelmed by sudden symptoms like a racing heart, shortness of breath, and dizziness, a simple hill appeared as impossible as a mountain, with no one available to reach via phone. This harrowing experience inspired Malonda to encapsulate her battle with fear in “Scheißangst”, symbolically inviting her anxiety to dance in the narrative of her music.
Directed by Borbala, the music video transforms ordinary parks and meadows into starkly mesmerizing mountain-like landscapes. Malonda explores these sceneries alongside her fears, personified by choreographer Marie Scherzer.
